Nisshin Namba Inn

Convenient. Close eats, tourist areas, subway, grocery.

Slight sewage smell from bathroom but you get used to it after a minute. Kitchenette does not have pots or pans to use.

I chose this hotel firstly for its location: walking distance to Namba/Dotonbori and Den-Den Town/Shinsekai, easy transfer from/to KIX with Nankai Airport Express, easy transfer from/to Nara with Kintetsu line, quite easy transfer from/to Kyoto with JR Kobe line. That already justifies staying in this hotel! I highly enjoyed the comfort of the room. It was freezing outside and so warm inside. The staff are very gentle, thanks Google Translate for the communication! Breakfast is included. It's rare. You'll have wrapped cakes that you would find in konbinis, and coffee/tea/orange juice. If you prefer a salted breakfast, you can skip it and go to Matsuya for ex. There are convenient dining options in the direct vicinity, away from tourists: Mugen Ramen, Kura Sushi, CoCo Ichibanya... This hotel definitely offers a great compromise for a great stay in Osaka :)

Nothing, except the freezing winter!

This hotel was in a great location as there is a temple down the street and the main train station in about a 10 min walk. There is local malls, and you can go to the running man walking, its about 20ish minutes from the hotel. There is a Lawson just at the corner from the hotel, so it's good for late-night snacks. The only thing was the bed as it was not as comfortable as other hotels around Japan. It was much bigger than other hotels and even had a balcony. That was something I enjoyed in the mornings or the afternoons to watch the sunset. They also don't provide essential toiletries, other than shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and of course, towels.

Staff are very friendly. Great value for the price.

The staff were warm and helpful. I told the reception that my room was cold. One of them came up to my room with a blanket and helped adjust the heat for me. The room was spacious and clean.

Nothing. It would be nice to have more tea bags in the cabinet because I like drinking hot tea after wake-up.

Cheap price. Helpful and patient staff in spite of language limitations. Decent location with a lot of convenient shops nearbg. Free breakfast.

Not necessarily a downside but this is a no frills hotel with not a ton of amenities. I think it was fine considering I stayed only one night.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, because I was just looking for a single room to spend the night, but it ended up being a much nicer room than anticipated with a stove, microwave, fridge, etc., so one could be really comfortable staying in the room. I only used it to sleep so it almost felt like a waste. Definitely a nice, clean room.

Breakfast was lackluster with only bread, but I have to admit I wasn’t even expecting that. And there is orange juice and yogurt and a toaster as well, so even though it wasn’t a full breakfast, I wasn’t expecting anything at all so I can’t really say anything bad here.

The room was spacious, very complete and comfortable. The location is great, very close to a lot of restaurants and convenience stores, and it's just like a 15 min walk to Dōtonbori.There's also a laundry room with coin machines, which was a great plus for me.

The breakfast was decent., I like coffee and warm buns.. the location is perfect.. easy to get everywhere.

The windows aren’t open in the room.. I like to have fresh air.

Our stay here was lovely, with the staff being extremely nice and attentive. Location was also great, being a short walk to the metro and namba station. Dontonbori wasn’t too far either. The only thing to note would be even if you choose a non-smoking room, the smell still travels into the bathroom from other (rooms or levels?) that allow smoking, so keep this in mind!

A couple minutes walk from Dotonbori and Namba station, easily accesible. Located just by the main road, which I like cus I didnt have to walk far into the neighbourhood when getting back in the middle if the night. They also provide different choices of bread/sandwiches for light breakfast

Good location, nice-sized room with all the necessary amenities. The room interior is not the newest, but everything works well and was convenient.

I unfortunately saw a roach in my room and the staff dealt with it. They offered to change the room, and when I asked if it's a common thing they said it happens sometimes because of the nature (I can confirm it was a clean place), but usually not in November. That incident unfortunately affected my comfort there, I didn't see any after that but I was always on guard, hence the lower rating.

It was good and quite location near Namba station and Dōtonbori. Breakfast included. There is a microwave and kettle in the room (tea, coffee). Very close to Namba Yasaka Jinja that is definitely must see.

The cost-benefit ratio is very good, the location is excellent, the hotel is very complete, comfortable and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.On the other hand, the room was quite big compared to rooms in Japan. I highly recommend it.

Good value for money, early check-in was available. Breakfast was a big plus too.

The room was quite dusty and it had a weird smell coming from the bathroom.

Staff are very friendly. The location is good. 20 mins walk to nambo and 5 mins walk to metro station.

I hear some weird noise at night. From AC, from fridge, from toilet …. Maybe because these facilities are too old.
